Is it possible for a link to an actual post that shows this? One where I, as a non-registered user can see it?
Also - as I asked the first user above - can you by any chance provide a screenshot of your smileys admin panel? at least the part of the panel that contains the settings for the above.

Just solved it within smiley panel! unless the smileys code start and end in ':' they post with all that text! I've just done another reply and their working! Thanks for the pointer in right direction

This actually should not be the case at all but the characters used in the code are very important and I was wondering if the problem stemmed from the fact that we were perhaps not being thorough enough when the code was being saved to ensure it would work as expected. This was why I was hoping to actually see the codes being used... and would still welcome the knowledge if possible - so we can test it out.

I can't get it to replicate the problem of not beginning and ending with ':', now that I've changed them all, they now let any characters and don't give out all that text. This could be all down to me tbh
