Hi,
So I'm just setting up my second site with simple:press. First site worked a charm.
Second site, I'm using the same base theme as first, I currently have all plugins disabled except simple:press. The forum page works properly with the CSS only theme, but not any of the others. I've checked the permalinks, I've checked the file permissions and owner and group IDs. These all match.
Site is http://lab.png-squad.com/forums/ any help would be much appreciated, the default theme is currently activated!

For some reason the combined and cached CSS is not returning any rules. Perhaps the server will not allow it which is sometimes the case.
Forum admin > Options > Global Settings. Turn off the cached and combined CSS and see if that works. May as well turn off the JS script as well as if one doesn't work the other will not.

I tried just switching off CSS cache, no luck.
Now both CSS and JS caching are off.

that likely means your host is not allowing php parsing of css files... basically, the mime types are not allow php files to be css... which explains why the css only theme works - no php...

Hope you manage to sort it out. There are obvious performance gains to be had when enabling these options.
