hi, i am wanting for all new members to go into a new usergroup that i have created, called "new members"...

however all new members keep going into the members group...

any ideas what else i need to do to make this happen?

Curious. An no - we have no other reports so probably looking at something pretty unique. First question... when a new user registers do they EVER appear in the 'New members' user group? And then moved out. Or - do they go straight in to the 'Members' group? Best way to check this is to manually create a dummy user in the WP New User admin panel and then double check the user group membership.
