Hi there,

 

This is probably really simple but i can't seem to find it, but how do i delete a post which has been made either by myself (the administrator) or a user?

Load the page with the post on it when logged in as the admin. Hover the mouse cursor over the row with the post to be deleted. A small icon should open up at the left side of the row. Click on that for the forum toolbox.

Hi again,

 

Thanks for the response, however the icon/button doesn't seem to appear. After looking into this in a bit more detail with firebug, i can see it's set to display:none to hide the button, however it doesnt display. When i toggle this display:none off through firebug so that the button is clickable i get "javascript:void(null)".. I turned off all other plugins on the site to make sure there was no conflicts, however it still appears to be the same.

 

Any ideas?

Most usually this does suggest a javascript conflict - but that would also cause other items not to work. But we should start there. Can you give me a link to your forum page?

The jquery.tools.min which makes fancybox work. Just need to figure out the correct order to get all scripts working on the page but still allowing the login, tool button of the forum to work, etc.

Good to know you fixed it. Dependency issues can sometimes be tricky to diagnose and fix on a users site.
