users can have as many memberships as you want them too... as long as you dont have the single membership option enabled on forum - usergroups - map users to usergroups...
so if user A has memberships in usergroup X and Y, and then he hits your new post count of 20 and gains membership in usergroup Z... he will now have memberships in X, Y and Z... he will gain whatever permissions you grant those usergroups on your forums... if he has more than 1, he gets the 'best' permission...

Thank you! That was loud and clear
Btw. quick sidenote-question: How can I make the quotation inside the editor turn grey - as you have done on this forum?
use the blockquote button in the editor... of course, you have to style the blockquote tag then in your css... all of our themes we provide do have some sort of coloring for blockquotes... so just change it to grey if that is the color you like..

Mr. Papa - I'm very sorry. I can not get this to work.
If I understood you correctly, this settings should grant access to "Til Bryllupet" as soon as the user have 10 posts:
My testuser has 1 post (Still awaiting moderation), but as soon as he made this 1 post, he got access to the group "Til Bryllupet"
This is my testusers profile, after 1 post:
(Medlemmer is the standard Members-group" just translated to Norwegian.)
This is the group-settings:
What am I doing wrong?
EDIT:
I have now made 90 testposts in a forum, using my testuser.
What is VERY wierd, is that my rank which starts at 90 posts, grants access to another usergroup - and THIS works just as it is supposed to. My testuser is placed in the usergroup which gives access to another forum, as soon as he has 90 posts(!)
But for the 10-post-usergroup - he has access from his first post, even before it is moderated.
can you see what you have in the sfmeta table.. for the forum ranks... I suspect its fine, but want to check...
ran some tests this afternoon and it worked as expected for me... and just to check, on the same admin panel, what is the single membership option set to? and do you have any special forum ranks?

Late reply, had to update my membership - never got the time, but here I am again
Let's start from the beginning again.
This is my forum-ranks:
It's been working quite well... As soon as the members hits 90 posts, they get access to the yellow marked usergroup. But now, suddenly new members with only one post gets access to this group..
I don't understand what you want me to give you from the sfmeta-table?
suddenly? so what's changed?
how do you have new users mapped?
any membership plugins?
