I feel like i am in way over my head.
We have a pretty active community and we are looking to start a forum after days of trying various wp plugins and just not having the functionality we want.. we decided on Simple press
however right out of the gate i am running into issues that are above my pay grade.
i seem to get a repeating forum.. and a [calendar] tag somehow.. here is a screenshot of what i am getting.. any help on how to proceed would be most helpful

Thanks that did help.. but then i notice its displaying in a strange place..
here is a sreenshot of where its displaying .. it somehow got place between the Next episode countdown time and what i would consider the header of the page.. the light colored diamond plate is the content box where it should be
any ideas .. like maybe a shortcode.. i searched but i cant find a shortcode that allows me to deploy the forum on the page screen shot attached

See if turning ion the option to use the strict WP API (same panel as before) solves that...

no when i enable that it doesnt display at all..
there is not shortcode to put the forum where i want it to go?

Using the strict WP API option displays nothing? Really? That suggests some serious oddities and non-standard behaviour with the WP theme you are using.
What is the theme please? Is it 'Gantry' based?
Do try different combinations of those 3 options by the way. Sometimes different combinations will work. But don't use the 'Bypass WP Head action' unless you are using a Gantry based theme. There again - there is no harm in trying it!

i have no idea what Gantry based means..
its themeforrest music theme. i did try various combinations of those three buttons..

Well that's not the same thing. That is a 404 - page not found issue which is different altogether.
Did you change the site permalinks or anything? On that Integration panel make sure that the forum page is selected at the top. Update it and then click on the update forum permalink button.
