looking at your site, I see your forum displaying…  I can see any forums as guest though… but seems to be there and not disappearing…

Try this URL:

http://optionsvet.com/forum/community-webinars/

if you mouse over any of the forum area, the page disappears, with our without loggin in, with 2 different browsers.

wait… did you update all simple press plugins and themes as requested… that is the first step…

and then what is wrong?  your forum is showing, so it didnt disappear…  not sure what the problem is…

One step at the time please. I have upgraded to version 5.5.3. Should I upgrade to 5.5.4, should I upgrade all other Simple:Press items.?

one step at at time is what I have been saying… but you skipped some… sorry, not being pointed, but just need to follow through…

what version of wp are you on?  Assuming the latest 4.1, you should update to 5.5.4…

I do indeed have version 4.1.

The version of SP updated to was 5.5.3.

After updated, administration page says I have to update themes. This is what I get in the WP Updates page:

Simple:Press Themes
The following themes have new versions available. Check the ones you want to update and then click Update Themes.

Please Note: Any customizations you have made to theme files will be lost.

css-onlyYou have version 1.2.6 installed. Update to 1.2.13. Requires SP Version 5.5.3.
DefaultYou have version 1.2.6 installed. Update to 1.2.13. Requires SP Version 5.5.3.
iForumYou have version 1.2.6 installed. Update to 1.2.13. Requires SP Version 5.5.3.
StackedYou have version 1.2.6 installed. Update to 1.2.13. Requires SP Version 5.5.3.

I am confused as  you page does want to reload itself at times…  that wouldnt be simple press…

and your url for the forum is odd…  do you have a topic and forum with same name?

on forum – integration – page and permalink, perhaps try resetting the forum permalink…

Mine certainly disappears, whether you are logged in, or not, and it happens in 2 browsers. Be sure to scroll down and give it a few seconds.

It happens when I mouse toward any topic to click to view.

I could also give you credencials to log in as a user or admin, if you think it would help.

oh, what you mean by disappear is something on your site trying to reload a page…  and the page just doesnt reload…

when you load the page, the forum is there…  if you go over a link, something on your site tries to load something and goes to la la land…  it might be whatever is trying to load the jquery ui tooltips library…

are you running stock sp theme?

Keep in mind that the problem was changed when I returned to the backup and returned after we upgraded Simple:Press.

I Do have several forums so that might be why it seems odd to you.

I am in the integration page. I don’t see a reset button for the permlink, but I do see one that says Update Forum Permalink. Below that there is another that says Update WP Integration.

several forums?  perhaps terminology…  you can only have one simple press forum…  but in there you can have groups and many forums..  but all must appear on same wp page…

so lets try one more thing…  forum – toolbox – housekeeping…   on there clear the auths cache and the general cache…  not likely to make any diff… but just rule it out…

then we have to figure out what is causing that bogus redirect…
