Yeah, I did not do any customizations so went ahead and reset IE 10. No change. (Although for some reason my passwords are still saved. Wonder if this means the reset did not take.) In any case, when you say update, you mean to Windows 8.1?

No, I meant check your version of IE 10.. there might be updates available to it...

you can check your current version via Help - About Internet Explorer...   think latest is 10.0.10

Screenshot-of-IE-version.jpgImage EnlargerSo you can see that I have 10.0.92 running and that 10.0.10 is available. The link takes you to a security update that says nothing of 10.0.10. And MS update tells me that my IE is current.

Never did fix the issue with IE. It is now having more and more issues, so it appears I need to uninstall and reinstall the newest version. So I am working only in Firefox. However, I have now gone live, and the forum is experiencing another issue: ADD TOPIC is working as are all other buttons but one: ADD REPLY. When I submit a reply, I receive a message saying "Saving Post - Please Wait". When it completes, however, the post does not appear. Have tried this multiple times with different topics and it is always the same.

so yeah... wp theme throwing some js errors...  plus I seem to be potentially getting cached pages from wp super cache...  you cannot cache the forum page... have you to wp super cache to ignore and not cache the forum page?

As it turns out, the replies are indeed eventually posting, however they are taking approximately 24 hours to post. Naturally, they should post almost immediately. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

see Steve's comments on using the wp cache plugin in the post above. That will delay things badly if not turned off for the forum page.

But yes - I saw the scripting errors as well...
