Hey guys, hope all is well. I have two website that I have created and wanted to use the forum on both site to where if someone posts on one site then the other site is updated with those post.
The first and original site is http://doggroominginhouston.com which has all the content plus blogs and back-links. The second site I just built is http://doggroominghoustonforum.com which is going to be the dedicated mobile responsive forum which uses different framework. Go ahead and load it on your mobile phone or a screen emulator to see what I mean. I want to be able to hook these together somehow. Is this possible? If not I was just going to redirect all forum users to the new forum site. Multi-site will give me a much better structure for SEO standards though.

We have no built in mechanism for saving posts in two different sites or for transferring all data between two different sites. That is quite a big order to do successfully as well.

yes, it supports multisite... but to carry Andy's thoughts a bit further... each site in the network is unique and independent... there is no data sharing between the network sites...

Yes the are two different networks. No data sharing. I am just going to do a 401 and manually enter in all the data. I wish there was a way to import data from SP to SP. If I copy tables snd paste them through phpmyadmin will I get any errors?

if you include the WP users and usermeta tables (does that apply to multi-site?) and can change any internal links that get posted then it might work but it is probably a fraught with potential problems sort of action to take.
