If I try to edit my own post as an Admin the screen just blinks and that's it.  tried with both Chrome and Internet Explorer.  My forum members also report the same thing that they cannot edit their own opsts.

Also I can't "Move" topics from one forum to another, or even "Delete" topics.

impossible to tell without a link to your site...  but would guess its a jquery/js conflict... please see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-conflict/ for more info...

and we can also do a quick check if you give us a link to your site...

oh oh...  a couple emails suggesting doing the same are going to hit soon... kiss

been testing the post by email plugin out and there is obviously a lag and you already figured it out, so ignore them... wink

it has the guess at why too

no obvious conflicts in console or quick look at the page source... so what happens when you try to edit a post? obviously I cannot try that... does the page reload or do anything?

next step might be to PM some temp credentials to myself and Yellow Swordfish so we can log in and try...

just to be sure, we are talking about post moderation, right and not math or captcha checks before posting? just checking because two different things...

so you have verified on forum - forums - manage groups and forums that the usergroup for guests (typically called guests) is assigned with the permission set (something like standard access) that you verified had both moderation permissions bypassed for each of the forums you want guests to be able to post?

was just a guess... looked like the theme might be using some jquery that wasnt loaded yet (improper enqueueing???)... so wanted to take out the header/footer js loading out of the equation...
