Hello,
Sorry if this is obvious but when I check the 'edit global options' section of the options tab in my user profile I am missing the following two options:
Hide online status
Send me an email if someone sends me a private message
Could you please point me in the right direction please

Did you install and activate the Private Message plugin? It not bundled with Simple Press by default anymore

and to be able to hide online status, you had to have enabled status hiding for your forum... in forum - options - member settings...
oh, if you have the pm plugin as tarma asks, you also had to have enabled sending of emails on pms on forum - private messaging - options

Hi, yes have it installed. Just realised now it was an option in the plugin itself that needed to be flagged
