How do you edit the title of a post a member made? Someone wrote a misspelling and I do not see how to edit it either from the member side or admin side.

When looking at the posts in Forum View (not the actual topic) you can open up the toolset (from the button that pops up when hovering over the title) and there is an edit title link in it.

I am not seeing this.. maybe I am not understanding what you mean? I look at the forum, and I hover over a title and I do not see any buttons or option to edit?

When looking at the list of topics in forum view when hovering over a topic you should see a little button pop-up.

You have to be logged in as an admin or moderator type level to see it.

Yours may be a different color than it is here but this is what it basically looks like.

Ok I had to switch to a different theme, the "Stacked" theme does not seem to support this. Is there an easier way to do this from the admin panel? The button is awfully elusive even when I switch to a theme which supports it.

Are you using IE9 by chance? I had someone mention to me yesterday that with it the button was 'elusive' like you said.

The Stacked theme should give you something similar. What some have done though is make the button permanently shown at all times (if you have permission to see it).

If you wish to do that we can help explain how but in most cases the theme needs to be tweaked a bit to put the button in a convenient place.

Are you using a custom theme already? If so not too hard to make it happen.

I have opened a ticket so we can discuss whether to extend the period the icons show up for. It does appear to work Ok in the Stacked theme on my tests however. Looks like this is maybe more of an IE9 issue which we need to address.
