Email for admin notification of post being sent to different place

For some reason the notification is being sent to my primary email equiposomosguate@somosguatemala.com instead of the email i use in the general settings of wordpress which is admin@somosguatemala.com

the emails go to to the address of your user account... each user account has an email address associated with it... if you are an sp admin and get the notifications, the user email address is used, not the site admin email address...

oh ok so i have a buddypress profile so if i change the email there it should work?

No, it uses the email in your wp user profile... not the site email, but the one for your user...
