In a different thread you wrote,

Each admin and moderator has to set this themselves… they each need to go the the forum admin > Admin > Your Admin Options – where they can turn the email notification on.

As an Admin, I have an Admin Links button to get me to forum admin. The moderator has no such button. How does he get there from here?

Thanks

If you allow them any access to the WP back end then they should see this one forum menu item....

Thank you.

How would I allow a Moderator access to the WP back end?

I've added this person as a full Administrator to WP. He's refreshed, logged out and back in to the forum, but still sees nothing that will allow him to get into Admin or set email notifications.

Am I being dense? This can't be this difficult, I wouldn't think.

I think that person has to be added as an SP Admin to enable that feature. The WP access level only controls what parts of the WP admin he has control of.

Ain't This FUN? LOL!

Let's ask our moderator...

BRANDON - you are a moderator here on SP but not an SP or WP admin. Do you see the forum 'Admins' menu -> Your Admin Options?

moderators do get access to the wp admin but can only see the panels they would be allowed to by wp PLUS the sp admins panel for setting their options...

you say they are moderators...  please verify that the usergroup they are part of for moderation has the moderator flag checked...
