Hi guys,

We got one person on our forum who runs a specific sub-forum. He is the only one who has the permission to post topics on this sub-forum (besides the admins), other members can only reply to his topics.

Is it possible to automatically send him email notifications when someone replies on one of his topics, without giving him admin rights?

if he is a member of a moderator usergroup, he can receive the same notifications as admins. But you might just find it easier to user our subscriptions plugin and have him subscribe to this forum. then he will get notices on new posts.

Thanks! The plugin was what I was looking for!

Is it possible to add the Subscribe button to the forums, so someone can subscribe to every new post in a particular forum? Now I can only find the Subscribe button in a topic.

have you turned on the option to subscribe to forums in the forum admin Subscription options?

Worth noting too that your users can also get to their current subscription settings via their profile forms.
