Hello there,

I am getting this error throughout my forum after the recent update:

Warning: The function sp_find_icon() has been deprecated and will be removed in a future update. Use the new function sp_paint_file_icon() instead. in /home/soelvinv/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/sp-startup/site/sp-site-deprecated.php on line 105

..as can be seen on my website:

Could you please assist?

Thanks in advance 🙂

that is not an error, but a warning... and telling you that you are using a deprecated function...

It means you are using incompatible versions of simple press and our simple press addon plugins...  please make sure all your simple press plugins are up to date...

Hi Papa,

I have had problems updating 24 SP plugins for some while now. When I try to update them all at once it says that all have been installed correctly however nothing happens.

what happens when you upgrade?  Are you updating all at once or individually?

That is the crux of your problem...  all of our plugins have been updated for that function deprecation...

Actually helped updating individually or in groups rather than all at once. Forum looks great again.

Thanks.

update all at once does indeed work, but its possible with a large number you are exceeding some sort of server setting (memory, cpu, etc) causing a failure...

glad its resolved... enjoy!
