I have tried to upload my avatar but in the box where you specify which image you want to upload the real path doesn't appear. There is a certein "fakepath" in the box and I don't manage to upload my avatar. What is the problem???

I don't find the real path in which is saved the image on my computer. In the path it's written C:\fakepath\image.

fakepath in the url??? certainly we dont do that...

is this IE? I seem to remember that being caused by a security setting in IE... not online and answering from phone, so can you do a search here for fakepath and see if that turns up one other ticket on think we had on this and the IE setting?

Yes  - the only reference we have come across to this 'fakepath' so far stems from IE. See this thread here: https://simple-press.com/suppo.....ge-avatar/

As I understand it is it an HTML5 standard to NOT show the real path to the browser/server but I also understood that it should not effect the actual upload process. A very quick google of 'fakepath' seems to suggest that there are some major issues being experienced with this security setting all the same.

So - what environment is this? OS and Browser?
