Up pops a little ephemeral box (not a dialog box) that says "Invalid database query" and then melts away into the sunset. A thing of fairylike artistic beauty.
This is so amateurish, guys. A professional error routine would at least provide some clues to at least identify the point at which the error occurs. A really useful error routine would provide some details for a user to note down (assuming the developers can't be arsed to develop an error log) that the user can then pass to support to assist in investigating the error.
Sorry for being so sarcastic. I once was a software dev manager and I am well aware how lazy developers can be when it comes to useful error routines.

Andy,
I appreciate your desire for a respectful approach.
However, the error message says "Invalid database query ". No more; no less.
The system here on this forum rejects that as a topic title, as being an inadequate description.
That is something I wholeheartedly agree with. It is monumentally inadequate.
Thanks. Where do we go from here?
