Oh gosh. You took me by surprise. You don't use an editor plugin...!
Needless to say I can't replicate this and this is a unique report. Somehow we need to get hold of the output that is being attempted. I need to do some research to see if i can find an easy way that will allow you to set this up.

OK - thanks. As an administrator, I just tried to approve a forum users reply to a topic and got this error...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_filter_email_content() in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/rtmconsu/public_html/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/subscriptions/library/sp-subscriptions-components.php on line 221
Some of my plugins have updates ready - and we haven't updated them yet. Could this be causing the problems/these errors?

I would say yes in this case. Personally I would recommend bringing it all up to date - SP core and the plugins. There were a couple of security updates in there worth having. Let me know when done and if there is still the main problem.
