Support Forum
When inside my Simple:Press forum, when I click on the "Members" button, I get a page with this message:
We’re sorry, but your membership has been cancelled. You’ll need to re-register in order to re-gain access to the site.
Please contact us if you feel you’ve received this message in error.
????
This is obviously being generated by my WishList Member plugin, and I'm posting to their support forum too, but wanted to let you know and see if you had any thoughts.
Also, can I disable this Members button??? I've pored through the S:P admin but cannot find where I can get rid of this Members button! I have an alternate directory I'd like to use, and just remove access to the S:P one.
My site is a private membership site, http://creativeignitionclub.com, so you won't be able to log in, but I can DM admin login details if you like.
thanks,
Melissa
No idea whatsoever - but I would be interested to know what the WLM have to say. They use Simple:Press on one of their sites so they might even be able to test!
As to removing the members button then there are two ways. The easiest is to turn off the permission 'Can view the members lists' for your users - see Permissions. This will still leave the members button there for admins and for any user in a user group whose associated permission has that option retained.
The other way is to edit the spHead.php template in the SP theme you are using and just remove the call to the members button function.
