Support Forum
This is not necessarily a SP problem, but i though it's a good place to ask.
I'm using Feedburner to add forum posts to Twitter, Twitter then posts to my Facebook page. The problem is, Facebook somehow grabs an image from my sidebar that has nothing to do with the topic being added to FB. I have tried adding rel="nofollow" to the image and also removed the images alt text with no luck.
Other than going to a no sidebar page for Simple Press, any suggestions on how to keep Facebook from grabbing unwanted images?

Mr Papa or BrandonC - or a passing user - may be able to advise on something. I am afraid I have a passionate dislike of Facebook personally (actually just for these sort of reasons) so I don't have a clue. Might be a better question on WP or Facebook support options though...

I don't think there is a way to turn off facebook from grabbing images when shared by using a link. I believe there is a way you can setup a default image though.
There are a bunch of examples of the way it can be done if you Google "wordpress default link image for facebook"
Thanks for the info guys..
I just put the forums on a page with no sidebar for now. If i used a default image FB would grab it instead of an image in a post. Was just trying to prevent them from grabbing a sb image when a post did not have an image. Facebook is a royal PITA anyway.
Facebook is in a world of hurt.. The stock dipped below $20 yesterday.
