Hi,
Is there a way that as an admin I select post or topics to be featured on the homepage of my website? I haven't seen that in the plugin section. I can do it manually but if I could just check a checkbox when I'm in a post I'd like to be featured, it would be much faster and easier.

No, afraid we dont have anything like that... first time someone has asked for such a thing...
but its an interesting concept... and potentially a new plugin we can do in the future... something like a feature topics or posts plugin... will open a new feature ticket...
In the meantime, if you are comfortable with php, you could use the list post class and create this with a list of post ids... if you feel like trying that, let us know and we can get you started...
