Is there a way my members can use a feed from simple press in the side bar widget?  Is there a shortcode for that?

there are plenty of wp plugins that can display a feed in the sidebar...  ours are just standard feeds... if using private forums and feeds, they have a feedkey applied, but still a standard feed...  so grab one of those plugins and put in the url of the feed (you can get that from any of the feed buttons)...
