So most everything is running fine for the most part, but in my WordPress Plugins, I get this message:

Simple:Press is READY TO BE REMOVED. When you deactivate it ALL DATA WILL BE DELETED

Is there a way to turn off this warning? It’s like ASKING to be deleted. 😉

Yes – go to the admin > toolbox > Uninstall and uncheck the box. You must have checked it at some point.

Thanks!

Do I hit the RED or GREEN button? It’s confusing on which is yes or no and sometimes the questions are phrased in a way that it could be either and the help button does not explain which is which.

I am going to change this. I think you are the only one who has had an issue but one out of a small group is probably enough to warrant it.
so – green = on, yes, go. red = off, no, stop.
If you feel there are some prompts that are ambiguous it would be better to let us know which ones and we can then consider changing them to be more explicit.

I did a svn up today and noticed the buttons in the admin backend are gray if not active, and green if active. Is this the intended behavior? Works for me if it is. Something is wrong if it isn’t.

Well we have had one or two comments on the red/green graphics…. 🙂

Red and Green is fine, red inactive, green active. What was not fine was the inconsistency which has been carried over to the grey/green scheme. Unsubscribe indicator should be grey by default not green. If I want to unsubcribe then I change it to green to activate the function, this is consistent.

I like the red and green lights they are fine, I think it’s pretty obvious what I don’t like laugh

Then perhaps a better method would be to rename the label. Instead of ‘unsubscribe’ make it something like ‘turn off this subscription’.

Perhaps but then you would still need it to be greyed out when you are subscribed. Then to unsubscribe or turn off the subscription you click on it to make it go green and then when you post he presto you are no longer subscribed. Do we agree?

Do we agree? Not yet 🙂
I will try and find some time to look at this today.

I am very confused.  When updating plugins at a client’s site, I encountered this message for Simple Press: READY TO BE REMOVED. When you deactivate it ALL DATA WILL BE DELETED.

I realize that I should have a red check mark in the box, but then I should click “uninstall”?  Can someone please confirm that I will not uninstall the plugin?

Thanks so much. I’d rather not take down my client’s Forum!
