Support Forum
Hello,
I was able to import a Simple Machine forum version 1 to Simple Press.
Since there was some problem in the source server I had to export and re-import the MYSQL database in my server using PhpMyAdmin, after that I made the import using the import plugin.
Everything went fine and apparently all forums, topics, members were imported successfully.
Unfortunately (I asked the site owner to ask few members to try a login) it look like that SimplePress do not recognize the password, forcing user to do a new registration.
And this is regarding the SM to SP import.
Now I have a question:
Is there any way to have the member redirected just to the Forum Page after registration or login?
I have setup this in the setting but I am still getting the ugly profile page that create confusion on members.
Last problem, I am getting warnings and I suspect that the Shopp plugin is the cause, see screenshot and let me know what do you think.

Please I need help.
Thanks
First up yes - all of those warnings are from something called Shopp. But you should not see warnings on the display pages. Do you have WP_DEBUG turned on in your wp-config.php file?
You can set the redirects in the forum admin > components > login and registration. You can also stop users having access to the back end Wp pages (i.e., dashboard and their profile) in the Options > Global settings.
Finally - it is not SP that does not understand SMF passwords. It is WordPress that handles all login/out operations. But there is no way they would be compatible. The SP exporter can not get plain text passwords out of SMF so we have no knowledge of what they were and the security routines around both SMF and WP will be different.
