Not sure as didn't delve but when I uncheck it works as .xlsx, re-check then it breaks and changes to .xls on download ! It says the following -:

I recently setup a CDN...I guess it is best to exclude /forum seeing as how its dynamic and so pointless caching ?

not entirely...  CDN of images would still potentially help... and object caching can work... but caching static html will not work...
