So I noticed that if I try to upload an image from my iphone with a .JPG extension (the extension that the IOS automatically assigns), the file uploader chokes and says it's an invalid file format. That's because the settings contain only lowercase file extensions (.jpg, .gif, etc). So upper case .JPG isn't recognized as a valid format.
So two questions. First, is there an easy way to have it ignore case, or do I need to add an upper and lower case version of each file extension to the list?
Second, is there any reason not to allow upper case, or title case file extensions? I have an older forum audience (think 60's + and mostly computer illiterate). I can see them trying to upload a .Jpeg extension (title case) and being baffled as to why it won't work.
just add the uppercase extensions to the list... you have control over the list...
