Is this Simple:Press related? Are these posts 'blog linked' for example?

Yes they are blog-linked.
But the articles on the blog don't show this problem.

Take a look at those urls you sent me... 'wpjquery?ver=3.3' ?? Where do these come from?

Can't trace back who is injecting it in the header... but looking at the name I guess wpsp-syntax could be one of SimplePress.
It seems to be one of the SP plugins... tracking it down.

When none of the options are selected it inserts these two lines in the header.

Selecting one or both options resolves the problem.
