Finding members in a forum search

When I try to locate a member I can't seem to find them by simply dropping their email into the forum admin section:

Forum/Users....

I have to go to the WP Section, find them via their email, locate their username or main name, and then go to the members section in the forum under the Members tab (where members see all members)

Frustrating and cumbersome.....

Any solutions????
