Support Forum
I had the most important forums group in the lead position but when a post was added into the secondary or least important forum group the latter took the lead place.
I went to forums/manage groups and forums/edit a group/display positions.....
There are two positions being available both identical current position OR current position.
I need to change the position of one group/forum to be lower or behind the most important group forum.
Any ideas please?
thanks

Oh dear. Sorry about this. I know there is something wrong in there but have been unable to find the exact conditions that cause the sequence to get skewed. I believe it has something to do with old deletes of groups and/or forums but have been unable to replicate so far.
Quickest and easiest way is if you have access to your database (say via phpMyAdmin) and are happy to change a couple of bits of simple data.
If not then what I would try it create a new forum group and when you define it set it to be in the number one position. That should force a reordering and you should then be able to order the genuine groups and then delete the new, unwanted one. I believe that would work.
