I'm trying to solve what seems to be a simple problem.

The wiki says:

The Forum ☛ Components ☛ Editor administration panel is where you configure the Post editors for your Forum.

When I got to my SP dashboard area, however, I don't have an "Editor" link under Components. I have:

  • Smileys
  • Login And Registration
  • SEO
  • Forum Ranks
  • Custom Messages

All I'm trying to do is ad the editing toolbar for readers to use.

Forum is here: Homeschool Open Source

the 'wiki' is for version 4 only. For version 5 you need our Codex and there us a link in oit sidebar near the top.

However, the editor - tinyMCE-  is an SP plugin which you will need to download and activate. This Codex article will tell you how and where etc...
