I just installed the beta and everything seems to be fine except that the word "forum" has been added to every entry on my navigation, but only when I'm viewing the forum. If I navigate away to another page, everything is fine.

Try this:
Forum admin > integration > page and permalink: at he bottom - turn ON the option to filter wp list pages...

It was on (green), when I turned it off (grey) the additional "forum"s were removed but also the text from the entry for the forum, which was "Forum" 🙂

I changed the menu item to Discuss, which I think sounds a little nicer and have moved on with my life.
