I can not in the backend in the forum. See figure 1.

That says you are not using a user account that is an simple press admin... remember, wordpress admins are not simple press admins...
log in via a simple press admin and on forum - admins - manage admins, you can add more users as simple press admins if you want...

you are still confusing wordpress admins with simple press admins... they are NOT the same... any user can be a simple press admin but not be a wordpress admin... this allows ordinary users to be a simple press admin, but not have any wp admin rights or access...
at install, only the wordpress administrator who installed simple press is a simple press admin.. as stated before, that simple press admin can make any other wp user be a simple press admin (but not be a wordpress admin)... that original simple press admin can add more simple press admins on forum - admins - manage admins...
so go back and log in as the wordpress admin who installed simple press and add this other user account as a simple press admin...
