Can you go to the forum admin > Options > Global Settings. Over on the right there is an option to 'Enable combining and caching of forum CSS files'. Is this turned on? And if so can you turn it off and update - then reload a forum page although clearing the browser cache is never a bad thing.

And let me know...

Curious if this worked before then - there have been no changes to the mechanisms involved. So... next.

What Simple:Press theme are you using and does it require updating (see the WordPress Dashboard Update page)?

Can you try switching your Simple:Press theme to the 'css-only' theme option. If that works OK then it suggests that something may have changed in your web server to disallow the use of php files to create run-time CSS files which is what 'default' does.

If the changes does NOT sort it then I must start tp suspect some sort of corruption on one of the new updated files...

Could you give me a link to your forum page just in case I can see anything that might be a cause?

Hey Simon,

Are you running any caching plugins? I notice you are getting a fatal error in your console which looks to be killing everything. I don't have any experience with WordFence but I see the file wfBrowscapCache.php which is why I mentioned caching.

<b>Fatal error</b>: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1115 bytes) in <b>/var/www/web537/problem-with-post-edit-buttontml/rank/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscapCache.php</b> on line <b>50203</b><br />

If you are using caching you will need to exclude the forum from this completely as SP is dynamically displayed.

Also, the error is actually stating that your PHP memory of 128mb is exhausted, you might want to try increasing your PHP memory limit especially if you are running lot's of plugins or a few heavy use ones. I'm not sure if this can be related to caching.
