We've got a serious display problem with the Simple:Press on our site. On page load the forum looks fine, but as soon as someone tries to add a new topic the "pop-up" element that arises disappears under the footer (this same behavior occurs with any other actions on the board that trigger 'new-window' functionality, they all disappear under the site footer).
Any idea what we're doing wrong? Our forum can be viewed at http://www.tbcontrollers.org/forum and while it's not public yet, I've made it accessible here for diagnostic purposes. You won't see the problem until you try to add a new topic or other pop-up type action.
Thanks in advance for any help or info anyone can provide!
first, there is no 'popup' element of creating a new topic in simple press... and its not a new window opening either.... it is a new url or page load, but that is different than a pop up or new window...
yet oddly, on your site, that appears to be what is happening... but it shouldnt be... certainly you noticed the normal page load with a form in it here...
so what is happening on your site?? a bit stumped at the moment... actually, our pop ups seem to be working fine on your site... just new topics are not via popups or windows... form opening seems to be fine too - look at the login form (adding topics should be similar)... and you get different action vice trying to create a topic with or without the page load (should be same)...
quite odd... so a couple questions...
is your server running mod_security?
and if you make a temp switch to the default wp theme, do things change?

Thanks, I knew it wasn't a pop up per se, but wasn't sure how best to describe the odd display behavior. We do have mod_security running, but we checked the logs and it's not being tripped. Plus when we do switch to a default theme, everything is ok.
This leads me to believe that it's a conflict with the theme itself. We'll just use a different theme for the forum and all child pages.
Thanks again for the very quick help with a terrific product!
was afraid of that being related to the theme.. not sure what was going on... thanks for the kind words!
