1 Since you updated last time I cant see the features where I can hide the list of the latest members. A

2 Also, even though in WP user list they are choosing the display name, on the bottom of the forum it displays their real names.

What update? 5.0.5? Nothing was changed in this area...

To hide the latest members display you will need to remove the template function that displays it in the spFoot.php theme template - look towards the bottom - it is easy to spot.

The new members list does, however, show the display name as recorded in the forum.

To hide subforums on the group view page you will need the spGroupView.php template. Again trace it down and you will easily find the function that shows the sub-forums. it has an obvious name!

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

most everything displayed by simple press is done via the sp theme you are using and a template file... just like wp does in themes...

so you need to find the template file you want to change and make the changes... Andy told you which template files to edit too...  so assuming default, you would look in wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/default/templates for those files...

if you are not using the default theme, then just replace default with the theme name in that location...

we strongly recommend you make your own theme before editing the theme so you dont lose any changes...  see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/ for more on creating your own theme...

you can find more general information on themes at:  http://codex.simple-press.com/.....ex/themes/
