Good morning, guys -

Having a bit of an issue -  please check out the formatting of my forum at  (PM sent) graphic missing too (sorry about the typo in title)

I changed domain names yesterday  - made the change in wordpress and also to  forum>permalink to reflect same. I also reset the common things in the Forum Toolbox. Everything seemed to be working fine. Woke up this morning to basically an all-text forum. I've tried changing themes and disabling plugins (wordpress and forum).

Thanks

Rick

First step - go to the forum admin > options > global settings and turn OFF the compressed and combined CSS cache. Do the same for the JS cache.
The clear your browser cache and run the forum.

If this fixes the issue go to Toolbox > housekeeping and clear the CSS and JS caches. Then you should be able to turn the caches back on on the options.

If it does NOT fix the issue then (1) - have you changed hosting companies as well? and (2) what SP theme are you using?

Turning off  'Enable combining and caching of forum CSS files'  did the trick. Turning off JS cache had no effect. As suggested, I did clear the CSS and JS caches and turned back on CSS cache - but the problem came back. so for now, CSS is off and forum appears as it did before I went to bed.

I did not change hosting companies - same VPS. All I did was change from .org to .com.  Also, both A records point to the same IP.

Using the Unified Child - tried others but issue persisted.

Could there be something in the Simple-Press database that is still hanging on to the .org domain name and that could be causing the burp ? I did see some authentication issues until I found and changed the SP permalink setting to .com

Thanks for your help

Rick

Doubtful that there is anything that could cause the theme not to function like that.

The next step is to clear the error log (toolbox) - turn the cache back on - run a page and then go back to the error log to see if anything was reported,.
