It was WP Super Cache. Even though i was not caching the forum page. Deleted that plugin and reinstalled it did the same thing. Strange but i have the same setup on the other site and it's fine. Trying W3 Total cache now.

Thanks for update.. Personally leery of all caching plugins... Dont work well for logged in users.... And my testing often shows worse performance..

I have to echo that sadly. I use it on one site and am considering removing it as it seems to cause no end of odd things to happen and no - have never been convinced of any performance boost.
