Hello, I have installed the forum and am using the CSS-Only theme.  I got that working, but now, nothing seems to be working.

I am using Maven Plugin with infusionsoft.

Thanks,

Can you expand on 'nothing seems to be working' please...

What should I see? I see your forum page with everything I would expect and the message that says I have no permission to view - because I am a guest visitor I assume.

Logged in as Admin, if I click on profile it does not change the page.  If I click on members, the member list does not come up.

If you would like to go through my setup to get into the forum you can do that here:

User Name is email (I need to change that on the login screen on the forum too)

I did a test and the first time I went in, I could see the profile, but then it will not go to the profile page when I click on the button.

Happy to look but we do tend to have a rule that we ask the user to create an account for us and, in this case, if you are wanting me to look at the admin side it will need to be an SP admin account - but that may not be necessary immediately.

However - I think I should also ask the obvious question. When things work and then stop working it is usually because something has changed. Actually - it is more like always! This can be a new plugin, WP theme, upgrade to one of the plugins etc., which sounds like to may be interfering with the JavaScript... Only you know if you have added or changed something...

Meanwhile - if you want to go ahead then please PM credentials to both myself and to 'Mr Papa'. Please include in the PM a link to your site, a link to this thread and brief reminder of the problem. And one of us will take a look for you. I will be out soon for a couple of hours I am afraid...

Hi,

I just set Simple Press up as a user using your email. I hope you get it.  Otherwise please PM Me the email addresses you want me to use.

The scenario went:  I registered, got into the system.  Was able to see a profile page, then went to the forum and the profile button no longer worked.

That just looks like something ha screwed up your page rewrite rules record. If that is the case go to the forum admin > integration > page and permalink and click on the update forum permalinks button half way down and then see.

I would try it but the account you set up is not an SP admin...

I can't get in to set you up as admin because it won't open the Profile page.  I set you up as admin on my WP site, if that helps.  I updated the permalink and now I get a Page Not Found when clicking on the Profile.

Setting a user up as a Simple:Press admin is performed within the forum admin back end > Admins > Manage Admins. (Too any 'admins' there but that is just the way it is!). It is NOT the same thing as a WP Administrator.

so - a few other reasons for 404's etc.

Could be that you have a redirection plugin active. Could be that you are using the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin. Could be that there are .htaccess rules defined that do not work as expected, Could be that mod_security is in place on your server.

Any of the above?

Ok. I just set you up as an SP Admin. Please feel free to take a look at my SP installation. Thanks, Diane
