Hey there,

First see screenshots to make it easier to understand.

When I am inside the forum FORUM (sreenshot1) FORUM is not visible in the Top Navigation.

But when I switch to the CPA OFFERS page (screenshot2) the FORUM is back visible

I want FORUM always to be visible in the top Navigation bar.

Any idea how I can restore this, because it worked properly.

This has happened to one other users as well - although two out of a lrge number ainlt too bad I guess!

At the moment I am unsure whether the problem is because WordPress has made changes to the menu display processing - or maybe the interface with the WP theme. When only one or two people have an issue like this it can be hard to determine.

The easy fix is to change the menu itself. Instead of pointing to a 'page' - hard code a link using the custom option and replace the current one with that. That will work just fine and overcoem the issue until we can - hopefully - sort out what has changed in WP.

what do you mean it doesnt work?  It has to work if you know the url you want and create a custom nav link...

to make sure you understand what we are saying, go to wp - appearance - menus.... and create a custom link... use your forum url as the link  and whatever your page name is for the label

That's right. It really does have to work. One thing worth doing as well though is to go to the forum admin > integration > page and permalink panel and make sure the option to filter wp_list_pages is turned off.

Solved by reinstalling the forum on a new domain.

Hi. Having the same issue, forum is visible in the menus only when not browsing the forum... as soon as I enter the forum it goes from the menu. Started upon updating to Wordpress 3.6 and SP5.3.

I have tried the hard code method and get the same results, the link is there when not in the forum but gone as soon as you enter the forum.

However for some reason I found if I changed the name of the button to 'Forums' it worked again. If I change it back to 'Forum' it goes away again. No idea why that works or what is going on, but I can live with an extra S for now.

Ok, the problem was solved by installing WP & SP on a new domain, but I had to Import the old Database ( other topic) to get everything back, now I have the same problem again. Looks like it is something in the database.

UPDATE, tried the hardcoding, that also doesn't works. Realy think it's inside the DB.

Go to the forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink panel. There is option to filter wp_list_pages. If it is turned ON can you turn it off and then see if the custom link on the menu is OK?
