this link is the old link and does go to the forum ..
What did you change? Are you referring to the WordPress page that the forum uses? Did you change the title and slug? Is that it? if so then go to the forum admin > integration > page and permalink and make sure (a) the correct page is selected at the top and then click on update the forum permalink button.

hi
i added a sub forum to a forum ..
all that is working fine .. it appears that when i added the sub forum it changed the link address to the "mother forum" for lack of a better word ..
forum link to "mother" forum is the one that changed ..
it was
http://classes.dogwooddogtrain.....101-class/"
and now it is
http://classes.dogwooddogtrain.....1-class-1/"
the emails i receive as notices that someone has posted to forum, still have old link heeling-101-class/"
anyway to update that???
well a 'slug' - which is the part of the url that is based upon the page title - MUST be unique across the whole website. So - for example - you can not really have a blog post or WordPress page with the same 'slug'. Well - you can, but the system will place a '-1' on the end of it. So perhaps that is what has happened here?
But that will only happen when a forum is created or - possibly - when the title is edited in some way.
And running the update forum permalinks - as suggested - will ensure that a changed slug will then work correctly.
