Forum Linking Missing from Admin

Hi,

I have recently updated simple press to version 5 and to my dismay, all my forum links capability have disappeared.

So first, I check to see if the forum linking is enabled but the option "Blog Link Options" under the "Component" tab is not there. See attached.

I check each post and page "screen options" to see if it is hidden. nada ...

I don't think there is another plugin that causes this option to disappear since I haven't update or install new plugins prior to the forum updates.

If someone could shed some light, that would be great.

I am using

  • WordPress 3.3.1.
  • php 5.2.17
  • MySQL 5.1.56

I just figure it out. I forgot to install the plugin "Blog Linking".

BTW, I love this idea of installing plugins if and only if we need it to make the forum nice and lean.

That was one of the main reasons. The other, of course, is it allows other people to extend their forum with a plugin of their own.
