Every link in my forum seems to not be working at all.
Anything I click on ends up refreshing the main forum page.
I've reset permissions, deleted all and recreated global permissions but nothing.

As you can see the urls are actually being correctly created but are being ignored or - to be more accurate - re-directed back to the main page url.
The main three causes in recent years would be:
- A WP redirection plugin such as 'Permalink Redirect'. If you have this or one like it then you will need to exclude the forum 'slug' in the plugins options.
- Some 'security' plugins for WP seem to screw up urls so if you have one of those again, you will need to determine how to exclude the forum page.
- The Yoast WordPress SEO plugin. If you are using this then you need to allow what the call ugly permalinks.
If none of the above then come on back and we can take a second look.

Thanks for the above.
- We're not using any redirection plugins.
- Only security plugin we're using is "Limit Login Attempts"
- We're not using Yoast but we are using "All in one SEO pack"
Disabled the SEO plugin to see if that was having any affect and there was no difference.

I'm having this same problem as of this morning. Last week the forum was wroking great with no problems but this morning I log in and go to the forum page which works fine but any topic I click on the forum page I get logged out of wordpress and brought to a 404 page. I've been trying to figure it out for the last 4 hours without success. Very frustrating.............

Actually, my problem is slightly different although when I click on a link on the forum page it is going to the main forum page URL but I get a 404 page instead because it is logging me out of WP and I have protections on the forum.........

Steve20: Yes - 404's are a completely different issue.
Mark: Well - they are the easy ones to fix uo... so...
Something for you both to try please. Go to the forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink panel.
Make sure the page selected at the top is the correcty page to displahy the forum on. If not then change t and update the form at the bottom.
The click on the Update Forum Permalink in the middle of the panel. Retry links please...

just to add to Andy's comments - another thing that can mess them up is a wp caching plugin since forum content is dynamic... Mark, I dont see any obvious caching on your site...

Hey Swordfish,
checked the link and updated the permalink as instructed.
Mr. Papa - We do have W3 Total Cache installed but it's not yet active due to conflicts with the windows server this is running on which we're still resolving.
Still no joy.
