Heya folks - post the recent forum upgrade (and pre the WP 3.5 upgrade) my forum looks a bit awry.  Might you take a look at the attached image?  (and/or directly on toonbarn.com/forum).

Is this simply because i have not yet upgraded WP?

go to forum admin > Options > Global Settings and turn off the two options to cache and compress CSS/JS files. It means your server is blocking the creation of compressed files.

cool...

would you be interested in testing a patched file for us so we can try to handle those with server shortcomings like this?

take the attached zip file and extract the php file from it... then upload it to simple-press/sp-api/ and overwrite the existing file...

then re-enable the css compression options...

I had the same problem after updating. Then i turned off the two options to cache and compress CSS/JS files and the forum looks now very naked. ;)

The patched file doesn't work for me.

What else has changed? Have you changed the WP theme or something? It looks like it is not calling the mandatory wp_head() function maybe?
