Forum not displaying correctly - standard fixes aren't fixing

My forum is not displaying correctly after we updated my site's theme.

The formatting doesn't display right.

I tried all the ideas in:
https://simple-press.com/docum.....an-update/

But none have fixed the issue.

The forum is at:

http://tractionreia.com/forum

How can I fix this issue?

Thanks,

Tom

Your website is throwing some script errors. Hard to say whether that is the cause of the loss of formatting or not but ther errors are in the way of tryign to diagnose anythng else. Clearly this new WP theme - or perhaps something else you may have added - is causing errors.

What about this 'popup-domination' thingy. Is that new? Might that be the problem?

'popup-domination' has been there for years. I disabled it to test and the forum still didn't work.

The forum on my other site isn’t working either. It also uses the Impreza theme.

How can we get the forum to work with the new theme?

Thanks,
Tom

something seriously amiss as you have much display code in your html head tags... very bad..  looks like perhaps another plugin or theme is attempting to update head tags but display wp content...

try going to forum - integration - page and permalink...  make sure you have limit display within wp loop checked... make sure you display multiple not checked...  maybe combos if needed...

if that fails, then try checking the strict use of wp api option...

I tried all of those. Tried various combinations. Now it does center the forum and show the menu at the top now, but the forum still isn't formatted correctly.

I again tried deactivating all plugins (except Simple:Press), but that didn't fix it either.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

There is something wrong the sp theme you are using... that is default with sky red overlay, right?

When the theme is loaded, its throwing the following error and thus not loading:

<br />
<b>Parse error</b>:  syntax error, unexpected 'if' (T_IF) in <b>/home/capital/www/www/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-themes/default/styles/default.php</b> on line <b>29</b><br />

have you customized our default theme?  is it up to date?  What is line 29 and surrounding area?

Just looked at our current default theme and it does not exhibit this error...  so yours appears  corrupt or incorrectly modified...

you might just download the current theme from our store (its free) and replace  yours...

That was easy!

The old sp theme must have gotten corrupt. Installing a new sp theme fixed it without hassle.

Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers,
Tom
