Support Forum
Hello,
I have a Group and three forums.
Now when I go to the forum web page I see the three forums.
But when I click on any of the forum links I get a 404 error page.
I searched for 404 error here but apparently I'm special. Nobody else has 404 errors.
Thank you for the help.
Chris
Now? so it was working? what has changed? update wp, sp or other?
first step, try going to forum - integration - page and permalink and give the forum permalink an update...

Hi
I just got the same problem. Nothing changed and did try to update the integration, but it did not fix it?
My forum are : http://www.w7h.dk/index.php/forum-3
Can't figure this out ! Hope some one can help.
Best regards
Teddy
If you look at the urls being generated - i.e., hover over the forum links - then you will see they are all correct. So something has to be overriding or effecting the WordPress URL parsing. I know you say nothing has changed but if this just suddenly started then something must have done.
Have you started to use a redirection plugin for example? Or the Yoast SEO plugin? Has you hosting company recently added the 'mod_security' module to your web server? Have you changed your site permalinks (they are a little ugly)?
Am also a little curious about the 'forum-3' slug... What happened to 'forum', 'forum-1' and 'forum-2'?

Hi
Yoast plugin is forbidden here, they fuck so much up (Have tried before)
My host Company did not changed anything, the problem first come for some hour since.
My permalinks Aren't changed (yes they are a bit ugly, but if I change them now, all links anywhere is lost (Got a Facebook side too that are linking to my site.))
The forum slug -3 is because I have tried some others forums earlier (Did clean db. after)
Teddy, can you provide us access to your site to troubleshoot? if that works, lets start with a temp wp admin account with sp admin capabilities... if doable, please pm them to yellow swordfish and mr papa with a link to this topic... depending on what we find, we may ask for ftp access...
it appears that your site is using pathinfo permalinks... can you verify that this is enforced by the server? or are you actually choosing to have the index.php in the permalink? (we could determine this ourselves with access)...
if wp did make a change to pathinfo style permalinks, we cannot really test since its very hard to simulate that setup not at the server level...
