Support Forum
Hi all,
I set up Simple:Press for my client in Divi and we had everything working great, now we are moving everything to the Genesis platform and running into an issue with the way the forum page displays.
The page is here: https://tnceo.xcjpsla4-liquidw.....ceo-forum/ and as you can see, the forum appears in the middle of the header, then a second copy of the header, content area, and footer appears below it.
It only does this when using Genesis, if I switch back to a default WP theme it generates normally, with the forum appearing in the content area. I've tried making a basic template for our Genesis child theme with only the header, WP loop, and footer, and selected that template for this page. But it doesn't change the presentation of the page at all, looks the same.
If there is a PHP code I could use to generate the forum, I'd happily just use that to create a template on my own. But in my research I was not able to find one. If that is an option let me know.
Otherwise, let me know if you need anything from me (site access, FTP etc.) and where to put that securely so someone can look into this.
Thanks!
Rory
errr, our site uses Genesis here... so its not a fundamental problem with Genesis... but maybe something odd the child theme is doing...
I dont see multiple forums when I clicked on the link you provided... did you resolve it??
If you still see two (maybe just admins?), then you could go to forum - integration - page and permalink and turn on the option for limit display in loop and turn off the option for multiple forum display...

The child theme is pretty basic, and I've tried reverting to just Genesis which I don't believe has any modifications. However someone else on our team has installed and is using Genesis Extender and something called Beaver Builder. I tried disabling those and this didn't fix the problem.
Also, it's not that we're getting double forums, it's that half the header loads, then the forum, then the full header, empty content area and footer. If you click to view a different page on the menu you can see what the header should like. I tried adjusting many of the settings in the forum integration page and wasn't able to resolve it, only remove the forum completely or create many copies of it.
Is there no PHP code that can be inserted in a template to generate the forum? Seems like that would be a much easier solution.
