Hello,

So I've installed the forum and got it set up for the most part and added some plugins to top it off. I wanted to know if someone from the Simple Press team could look through and make sure my forum is set up correctly and the plugins are doing what they need to do. I can't figure out how to make the color match my site's theme, so I chose a basic color scheme. If someone could help with this, that would be great. Thanks.

errr, we would need a link to it to take a quick look...  we do offer a custom theme service for detailed theme work to match a wp theme...

Hmm... I don't want them to have access to what is said or be able to post, but is there a way to let them still see the topics to get them intrigued to subscribe? I can give you a login, is there a way to private message me here?

Ok, I set it to READ ONLY for guests. Is that basically all for the sneak peek?

Well you need to set the right permissions as described in the FAQ @mr-papa linked to above and the message is always a good idea to let your visitors know what they can see and how to sign up to see more.

Thanks, think I got it squared away. What about styling and matching my theme's color scheme? Doesn't seem to have the option to change the colors other than the other options inside the theme itself.

Yes, with Reboot (and all themes except for Barebones) the only way to change the colour scheme is by selecting a pre supplied overlay, or creating one.

Barebones has the 'Barebones Customiser' which allows you to pick colours from a colour picker to style different elements, but it's the latest theme and a new feature.

It's actually pretty straight forward to create a new overlay, you can download the Reboot child theme framework for free from our store to get you started, then you can simply copy one of the pre supplied overlays from Reboot, rename it and start changing the baseColor's at the top of the file. As long as the new overlay you make has a unique name and resides in the overlays folder of the child theme, you can enable the child theme and pick your new overlay from the list.
