Forum theme at user registration

Is there any way to adapt the theme of the user registration page to fit with the website theme?
As you can see from this screen print the input boxes are appearing in yellow and the text on them when typing is a very faint grey, which makes it very difficult to read. Furthermore, the disclaimer at the bottom seems to have got blocked out by a white box, so does not appear at all.

This is not in Simple:Press territory. This is going to be a product of whatever registration plugin you are using there so we can not affect it;s styling at all. You need to address the plugins styling options or make changes to your WordPress theme styling to accommodate this. Sorry...
