Hi,

We are in the process of migrating our forum over to a development site that we intend to later on make our official production site.  However, we do not see any forum export features with this plugin. In this case, we are having to recreate the forum from scratch.  Nonetheless, we are running into issues with viewing our forum topics or creating new post, whether or not we are signed in as a moderator. Permission sets look ok on our end, so we are stumped.

We have been using this plugin for about 4 years now and this migration is proving to be very difficult. We are willing to recreate the forum from scratch if it means we will mitigate the chance of importing any errant files.

Please advise on how to be integrate our forum in this development site. We can provide an admin account to look at our setup. - inceptionradionetwork.biz/forum

There is absolutely no reason why moving the forum to a different server - and even a different domain - should cause any issues whatsoever. In fact - you should just be moving the forum tables along with the WP tables.

Please see this FAQ: https://simple-press.com/docum.....or-domain/

I have read the FAQ and tried the migration with phpmyadmin.

Nonetheless, I have abandoned the idea of moving my Forum, so I elected to just start fresh. The point of my post is that this new install is not working properly. Meaning, I am unable to create post or when I click on a topic from the theme's sidebar view, it takes me to a blank page.

This is what I am asking assistance with.

OK - so what is different about your environment? Different WP theme? Different WP plugins?

It sounds like a simple JavaScript conflict of some sort. You should be able to check for this using your browsers web console to hunt down script errors...

Brand new server, new theme, and some plugins are new. I am not seeing any script errors via browser debug. I tried turning off plugins and I am still experiencing the same issue.

Any idea if why I may not be seeing anything errors generated, yet I am having issues?

I don't even see the front forum page. It seems to die with an iFrame call to http://mcc.godaddy.com and I have no idea what that is about!

Did you try updating the forum permalink in case it has got lost?  Would be unusual on a new instal but who knows. Forum admin > Integration > Page and permalink - update permalink button.

Is there any chance of granting the account you created SP Admin status?

So now I DO see the forum front page. When I click on topic and it is blank I see this error in the console:

GET http://mcc.godaddy.com/park/.... and a whole long string of chars - and the error is:

net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

So do you know what that is all about?
